The Liceo Artistico Piero della Francesca is one of the schools annexed to the 'Convitto Nazionale V. Emanuele II' and represents the most modern and avant-garde evolution of the Istituto Statale d'Arte. This change took place in the 2009-2010 school year, following the Reform. In subsequent years, the Liceo Scientifico Scienze Applicate, the Liceo Coreutico, the Liceo Scientifico Internazionale BRIC and, finally, the Liceo Internazionale Quadriennale were added. As pointed out in the POFT, the Liceo Artistico of Arezzo is deeply anchored to the territory and its peculiarities, and over time has tried to restructure the study courses so that they were always in line with the job profiles that the provincial reality required. The educational objectives common to all the above-mentioned courses of study are of various kinds: knowledge of the various languages of the curricular and extracurricular disciplines; knowledge of the fundamental values of the Italian state; formation of the Italian, European and international citizen; knowledge and acceptance of the rules of civil coexistence; education in solidarity and acceptance of others; education in legality. To the principles just described, today we cannot but add the dimension of school inclusion that concerns 100% of students: it is not a question of Special Educational Needs, but of social justice and human rights of every student, expressed in all those practices of 'well being at school', so that the school environment itself becomes an organisation of support and enhancement of all diversities.

The Bernardino Lotti Secondary Education Institute in Massa Marittima offers five courses of study: the school with the oldest traditions is the Industrial Technical Institute, founded in 1919 as the Mining Complementary Course and which became the Mining School in 1927; today it corresponds to the Construction, Environment and Territory Address (Geotechnical articulation). In 1963 the Technical Industrial Chemical Address was established, now called Chemistry, Materials and Biotechnology (articulation Chemistry and Materials). In 1946, the Liceo Classico was established, aimed at literary, historical and philosophical education. Also important was the establishment of the vocational school for electronics, which with the reform took on the name Maintenance and Technical Assistance. Since the 2011/12 school year, another vocational course has been activated, Food, wine and hospitality services, which has intercepted a constantly growing training need in the area. Fundamental in 2003 was the activation within the institute of a training agency accredited by the Region of Tuscany, which motivated the opening of a evening course for adults inherent to the professional pathway enogastronomy articulation in constant synergy and collaboration with the CPIA of Grosseto and local associations.
