The team of the ALL Inclusive project is taking part in the American Educational Research Association – AERA 2025 Annual Meeting, held in Denver, CO, from April 23 to 27, 2025, on the theme “Research, Remedy, and Repair: Toward Just Education Renewal.”
During the event, Professor Alessandra Romano, Scientific Coordinator of the project “ALL INCLUSIVE: Superiamoci in sicurezza”, presents the paper “Practicing Epistemic Collaboration in Transformative Inclusive Research with Students with ASD.”
The paper describes the qualitative phase of a mixed methods study conducted with high school students with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. It explores the internal and situational factors that influence students’ vocational adaptability and work expectations, while challenging a remedial approach to research.
The paper is presented in the session “Centering the Voices of Disabled Learners,” scheduled for April 24.
