A new research on career adaptability

From the international collaboration between the research team of the University of Siena of the All Inclusive project and the team of The Education University of Hong Kong, an important scientific contribution has emerged in the field of career adaptability for students with special educational needs. The contribution, titled Career Adaptability in Special Educational Needs Populations: A Systematic Review of the Empirical Evidence and Emerging Research Directions, authored by Cheng Li, Lan Yang, Kuen Fung Sin, Fengzhan Gao and Alessandra Romano, has been published in the prestigious international journal Behavioral Science.

The article presents a systematic review of international studies on career adaptability in student populations with special educational needs, highlighting how specific research in this field remains still limited, despite robust evidence linking career adaptability to positive vocational and psychosocial outcomes in general populations.

The work represents the first of a series of collaborative studies that will further explore this important research area, contributing to the development of more effective educational and vocational support for students with special educational needs.
