Advanced Course “Transformative Teaching Methodologies for Managing Problem Behaviours”

From January to June 2026, the University of Siena will offer the Advanced Course “Transformative Teaching Methodologies for Managing Problem Behaviours” designed for teachers of school orders and grades, with the aim of exploring innovative teaching strategies directed at transforming problematic behaviours inside and outside the classroom.

The Course has the following educational objectives:

  • To acquire investigative techniques for the functional analysis of problem behaviours;
  • To master learner-centred development methodologies for engaging students in self-regulation processes;
  • To be able to design strategies for inter-institutional collaboration between schools, families and territorial services in order to build integrated ecosystems for managing problem behaviours.

The lessons will consist of 8 didactic modules for a total of 120 hours (20 CFU), which will be divided between synchronous and asynchronous lessons accessible through the University of Siena’s Moodle platform.
